About Our MRI and CT Outpatient Imaging
Three things are needed to arrange for outpatient advanced imaging at CVNI:
- A completed MRI or CT request - all imaging requests must be submitted by a veterinarian’s office.
- Recent medical records.
- Full blood work (CBC/Chemistry) performed within the past month, or since clinical signs have emerged - whichever is more recent. There is a section on the online request form that allows for attachment of records.
Once these items are received, we will then contact the pet owner to schedule the imaging procedure. We will contact your office when imaging has been completed. Radiology reports and links to patient images will be forwarded to your office.
Our outpatient imaging service is designated for hemodynamically stable patients. Transfer and imaging of unstable patients must be coordinated with Anne Arundel Veterinary Emergency Clinic.
